When you receive a message like the one below when you try to connect on a VPN at home, it could be because a windows update caused this. 



To fix this error, go to your magnifier glass next to the windows icon in the far bottom left of your screen and type in 'View Your Update History'

Select the View your Update history (circled above) on your screen 


click on Uninstall Updates




Look for an update the happened most recently wit the following ID (KB5009543)



Right click on it and 'Uninstall'

You will see a green bar with its progress.  When complete, restart your computer and you should be able to use VPN again.
